Is SolidGigs worth $35/month? Calculate your time-value break-even point.

Our pick is SolidGigs when a freelancer already knows how to pitch and the bottleneck is time spent finding leads. SolidGigs currently lists its monthly Get Leads plan at $35/month after a 14-day free trial. Use this calculator to test one narrow question: how much prospecting time would the current monthly subscription need to save for its $35 cost to equal the value you choose for that time?

If the math works, see our SolidGigs recommendation →

SolidGigs is an affiliate partner. The calculator formula does not change because of that relationship; the merchant handoff remains on the governed recommendation page.

Trust boundary: This is a planning calculator, not an income forecast, not a client-acquisition prediction, not an ROI guarantee, not an A✓/CHECKED verification record, and not an A✓/CHECKED approval badge. Your hourly value and estimated hours saved are assumptions you enter; AlreadyChecked does not verify or predict them. Affiliate economics do not affect the formula, and this tool contains no direct SolidGigs merchant affiliate destination.

$35/month break-even calculator

Enter a conservative value for one hour of your working time. Optionally estimate how many prospecting hours per month you think a lead-discovery tool could save. The second number is your scenario assumption—not a SolidGigs or AlreadyChecked promise.

A billable rate can be a reference point, but a freed hour is not automatically worth that amount in cash.

User assumption only. The calculator does not predict actual hours saved.

At $50/hour:

The current $35 monthly plan would need to save about 0.70 hours/month to equal $35 in assumed time value.

That is about 42 minutes per month. If your assumption were 1.00 hour saved, the time value would be $50, or $15 above the subscription cost. That is a planning comparison, not expected profit.

How the calculation works

current monthly subscription cost ÷ user-chosen hourly time value = break-even hours

Using the current $35 monthly price: at $50/hour, $35 ÷ $50 = 0.70 hours, or 42 minutes. At $25/hour, the threshold is 1.40 hours (84 minutes). At $100/hour, it is 0.35 hours (21 minutes).

The optional scenario calculation is estimated hours saved × hourly time value − $35. A positive result means only that your entered assumptions produce a time value above the current monthly price. It does not establish future cash profit.

Monthly and annual plans are different decisions

SolidGigs currently also lists an annual Get Leads plan at $350 billed annually, displayed as a $29/month equivalent, after the same 14-day free trial. This calculator deliberately uses the separate $35 monthly plan. It does not silently replace monthly-plan arithmetic with the lower annual-plan equivalent, because committing $350 annually is a different purchase decision.

What the result does—and does not—mean

Use the 14-day trial as an observation window—not a guarantee

Current SolidGigs Terms say the free 14-day trial becomes the selected paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. The Terms also say prices may change and do not guarantee refunds or prorated adjustments if you fail to cancel on time.

If you choose to test the service, write down your break-even threshold first. During the trial, track only time you genuinely would have spent prospecting and count only opportunities you consider relevant. Make the billing decision before the trial deadline; the calculator does not make that decision for you.

Example: At a conservative $40/hour time value, $35 ÷ $40 = 0.875 hours—about 53 minutes. That threshold still does not mean 53 freed minutes become paid work, or that SolidGigs will save 53 minutes.

When this tool is useful

It is most useful when you already know what you sell and how you pitch, and your suspected bottleneck is the time spent finding relevant external opportunities. If your bigger problem is portfolio quality, sales ability, contracts, payment handling, or lead fit, the calculator may be measuring the wrong bottleneck.
