SolidGigs free trial: what happens after 14 days?

If search time is your freelance bottleneck, our recommendation is to use the SolidGigs trial as a measured test. SolidGigs currently gives both Get Leads plan choices a 14-day free trial. Current Terms say registration uses email and payment details, the selected plan becomes paid after the trial, and cancellation must happen before the trial ends to avoid that charge.

Our pick: choose SolidGigs when you already know how to pitch freelance opportunities and want to spend less time searching across sources. Use the 14 days to prove that fit before accepting a paid plan.

SolidGigs is an affiliate partner. The governed recommendation page contains the single merchant handoff and the full limitation/disclosure.

Trust boundary: This is a manually researched editorial guide, not an A✓/CHECKED verification record and not an A✓/CHECKED approval badge. This support page contains no direct SolidGigs merchant affiliate destination.

AlreadyChecked Verdict

Use the 14 days to prove search-time value, then choose monthly, annual, or cancel before the trial ends.

The free trial is useful only as a measured test. Continue at $35/month when the lead-discovery workflow has earned a lower-commitment paid test, move to $350 annual billing only when long-term fit is already clear, and cancel before the deadline when the evidence does not justify either charge.

Best for you if… you enter the trial with a real freelance offer, track relevant opportunities and prospecting time saved, and make the paid-or-cancel decision before the 14-day deadline instead of relying on a later refund.

Decision rule: Use the 14 days to measure relevant opportunities and search-time savings. Continue monthly only if $35/month fits. Continue annually only if a $350 annual charge is deliberately acceptable. Otherwise cancel before the trial ends.

Current trial and pricing

Monthly trial

14 days free

Then $35/month if the selected subscription is not cancelled before the trial ends.

Annual trial

14 days free

Then $350 billed annually. SolidGigs displays this as a $29/month equivalent; that does not mean the annual plan is billed monthly at $29.

Cancel / skip

Best fit when the trial does not produce enough evidence to justify the selected paid plan or you do not want the post-trial charge.

SolidGigs says prices are subject to change, so the checkout amount should be confirmed before registration rather than relying on an older screenshot or article.

The trial activates a subscription

Current SolidGigs Terms describe registration as providing an email address and payment details and clicking Continue to create the account and activate a subscription. After the 14-day free trial, the selected plan is charged.

That means doing nothing is not the same as cancelling. The reviewed Terms do not promise a post-trial grace period.

When must you cancel?

Before the trial ends. Current Terms say cancellation must occur before the 14-day trial ends to avoid the selected subscription charge.

If avoiding a charge matters, record the trial end date when you register and confirm cancellation/account status before that deadline. AlreadyChecked is not claiming a grace period after day 14 because the reviewed Terms do not provide one.

Refunds are not guaranteed

Current Terms say SolidGigs does not guarantee refunds or prorated adjustments if a user fails to cancel on time or at any other point.

That wording has two boundaries: do not assume a missed cancellation will be refunded, and do not rewrite the Terms as saying refunds are categorically impossible in every circumstance. The contractual point is simply that a refund is not guaranteed.

What should you measure during the 14 days?

SolidGigs is a lead-discovery service, not a guarantee of freelance work. The trial is most useful when it tests the specific thing the subscription sells: reducing the work required to find relevant opportunities.

No current first-party evidence supports promising that you will win a client, earn a particular amount or achieve a particular ROI during the trial.

Monthly, annual or cancel?

Continue monthly when…

The trial materially improves lead discovery and you prefer the lower-commitment recurring option at $35/month.

Continue annually when…

The trial materially improves lead discovery and you are deliberately comfortable with $350 billed annually. Treat $29/month only as the displayed monthly equivalent.

Cancel before renewal when…

The leads are not relevant enough, the time savings are too small, or you simply do not want the selected subscription charge after the trial.

What SolidGigs does not provide

SolidGigs says it searches multiple sources and sends users to the original source to pitch. It is not the downstream marketplace for every contract and payment. If you need integrated marketplace proposals and conditional payment-protection infrastructure, see SolidGigs vs Upwork. For an integrated freelancer workflow with different payment mechanics, see SolidGigs vs Contra.
