AlreadyChecked Verdict
SolidGigs fits freelancers who want broad multi-source lead curation at a predictable fixed price. Vollna fits freelancers or agencies whose acquisition is heavily centered on Upwork and who value filters, AI qualification/drafting, analytics or optional auto-bidding enough to manage separate Upwork costs and unresolved public Automation pricing/trial conflicts.
| Choice | Best for | Current cost | Biggest advantage | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Broad curation SolidGigs | Freelancers who want multi-source external opportunities and already manage pitching, contracts and payments. | $35/month or $350/year after a 14-day free trial. | Predictable fixed-cost curation across multiple sources. | No leads, clients or earnings are guaranteed. |
| Upwork workflow Vollna Freelancer | Freelancers whose acquisition is heavily centered on Upwork and who value filtering, AI qualification/drafting and analytics. | $24/month or $16/month effective annually. | Lower-priced Upwork-focused filtering and AI workflow than the checked Vollna agency/automation tiers. | Annual-effective pricing is not month-to-month pricing; paid subscriptions auto-renew and are generally non-refundable under the checked Terms. |
| Automation Vollna Auto-Bidding | Users who want automated proposal submission and can manage Upwork Connects/Boosts costs and platform-policy dependency. | Current public pricing is internally inconsistent: the tier list includes Auto50 at $59/month while the same page says Automation starts at $149/month. | Optional 24/7 proposal automation tied to configured Connects and Boosts. | Current public pages also conflict on Automation trial eligibility, and provider compliance language is not a permanent platform-safety guarantee. |

No universal winner. Vollna’s current public pricing documentation contains material conflicts on both Automation starting price and Automation trial eligibility. We preserve those conflicts rather than inventing certainty.

Cost: 14-day free trial, then $35/month or $350/year.
Model: multi-source curated external opportunities.
Freelancer: $24/month, or $16/month effective when billed yearly.
Agency: $62/month, or $41/month effective when billed yearly.
Model: Upwork-focused filters/alerts, AI qualification/drafting, analytics, integrations and optional Auto-Bidding.
The current pricing tier list includes Auto50 at $59/month (or $45/month effective yearly). The same current pricing page separately says Automation starts at $149/month for 150 auto-submitted proposals. We therefore do not publish one simplified universal Automation starting price; the exact tier matters.
The current pricing plan table says the 14-day free trial is not included for Automation. Current FAQ/homepage copy separately says every account starts with a 14-day free trial of all features. Manual Freelancer and Agency trial eligibility is clearly supported, but the Automation trial should not be promised as settled while those public pages conflict.
The $16/month Freelancer figure and $41/month Agency figure are effective monthly amounts when billed yearly. They are not the current month-to-month prices.
Current Freelancer pricing lists 250 AI Cover Letter credits and 3,000 AI Job Qualifier credits. Those feature credits should not be relabeled as proposal submissions.
Current Terms say paid subscriptions are billed in advance and automatically renew unless canceled. Access continues through the paid period. Fees already paid for that period are generally non-refundable except where required by law, although Vollna says some requests may be considered case-by-case.
Vollna says Auto-Bidding can submit proposals 24/7 and automatically spend configured Connects and Boosts. Those Upwork-side acquisition costs are separate from the Vollna subscription. Vollna also says it monitors Upwork policy changes, while its pages state that it is not endorsed, affiliated or sponsored by freelance sites. We therefore do not treat provider compliance language as a permanent guarantee that every automation configuration will remain policy-safe forever.
SolidGigs fits better when multi-source lead curation is the bottleneck and you already manage pitching, contracts and payment.
Vollna fits better when faster filtering, AI drafting/qualification, analytics or optional automation can improve an Upwork-centered workflow.
Vollna is a weaker fit for that expectation until its current $59 Auto50 versus $149 starts-at copy is reconciled.
Neither a provider compliance statement nor an automated proposal guarantees platform safety, replies, interviews, hires or earnings.
