SolidGigs
Current price: 14-day free trial, then $35/month or $350/year on the checked first-party pricing surface.
Model: paid freelance-lead discovery and curation across multiple sources; the freelancer follows the original source to pitch.
Start with SolidGigs when repetitive freelance client/project lead hunting across sources is your bottleneck. Start with SkipTheDrive when you want free, no-registration browsing for remote or hybrid jobs and are comfortable following employer-provided application paths. SkipTheDrive's $99 price and 30-day satisfaction guarantee are employer posting terms, not candidate subscription or refund terms. Neither is a universal winner.
AlreadyChecked Verdict
SolidGigs fits independent freelancers paying to reduce repetitive cross-source client/project lead hunting. SkipTheDrive fits remote-job seekers who want a free no-registration discovery surface and are comfortable verifying role eligibility and employer-controlled application paths themselves.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Freelance clients SolidGigs | Freelancers whose bottleneck is repeated cross-source client/project lead hunting. | $35/month or $350/year after a 14-day free trial. | Paid curation focused on reducing freelance prospecting workload. | No client, project, earnings, refund or universal downstream transaction outcome is guaranteed. |

SolidGigs currently advertises a 14-day free trial, $35 monthly access and $350 annual billing displayed as roughly a $29/month equivalent. It says it is not a freelance marketplace: users set search rules, SolidGigs searches multiple sources, and matching opportunities lead back to the original source so the freelancer can pitch directly.
SolidGigs' current Terms require cancellation before the trial ends to avoid the selected-plan charge and do not guarantee refunds or prorated adjustments for late cancellation or at another point. Cancel-anytime marketing and refund rights are separate.
SkipTheDrive currently says there is no registration and no charge to search. Its About page separately states that no registration is required and SkipTheDrive is free for job seekers. That is a materially different purchase model from SolidGigs.
SkipTheDrive currently charges employers $99 for a 30-day job posting. Its employer page says paid submissions are reviewed after payment and reviews may take up to 24 hours. This supports a review statement for directly submitted paid employer postings; it does not prove every surfaced opportunity receives the same review.
The employer page also advertises a 30-day satisfaction guarantee allowing an employer to request a full refund if dissatisfied with its paid posting. That employer-side commercial promise is not a candidate refund right, job-legitimacy guarantee, interview promise or employment guarantee.
SkipTheDrive currently advertises 28,000+ jobs from more than 2,800 companies and says jobs are updated daily. Those are provider-stated dynamic inventory figures, not an independently normalized comparison against SolidGigs' cross-source lead flow. Current category pages can still contain listings of different ages, including 30+ days.
Current SkipTheDrive results show role-specific state, country, licensing, timezone and market restrictions. A remote label does not remove work-authorization, legal, tax, licensing or occasional onsite constraints.
SkipTheDrive's employer form requires job application details and gives an application URL as the example. Its application-tracking resource separately distinguishes the hiring company from the site where a job was found. Treat the employer/application destination as a separate privacy, security and terms boundary rather than assuming every application is hosted and controlled by SkipTheDrive.
SkipTheDrive's company directory explicitly says most companies listed there do not have jobs listed on SkipTheDrive. Directory presence therefore is not proof of a current opening.
SkipTheDrive's current micro-job resource tells users it is up to them to perform due diligence and research companies they choose to work for. Direct employer-submission review can be useful process evidence, but it is not fraud immunity or proof that every surfaced listing, recruiter or downstream interaction is safe.
Commercial boundary: this comparison contains no direct SkipTheDrive merchant destination. A fresh project commercial search found no project-controlled SkipTheDrive referral enrollment, issued-link, attribution or payout custody. SolidGigs-qualified readers can continue to our governed SolidGigs research page; affiliate economics are excluded from the ranking.
AlreadyChecked verdict: No universal winner. SolidGigs fits freelancers paying to reduce cross-source client-lead hunting. SkipTheDrive fits remote-job seekers who want free no-registration discovery and can verify downstream role requirements themselves.
