SolidGigs vs Remotive: pay for curated freelance leads or broader remote-job access?
Start with SolidGigs when you are specifically pursuing freelance clients or projects and the problem is too much time spent hunting across sources. Start with Remotive when you want a much broader remote-job inventory with advanced filters and alerts across employee, contract, part-time and freelance roles. Remotive pricing is localized, so verify your country-specific checkout total. Neither is a universal winner.
AlreadyChecked Verdict
No universal winner: choose focused freelance lead curation or broader paid remote-job access.
SolidGigs fits freelancers paying to reduce cross-source client/project lead hunting. Remotive fits people who want broader remote-job inventory, advanced filters and alerts across multiple work arrangements and are willing to verify localized checkout pricing.
Best for you if… you choose based on work relationship and inventory breadth first, then compare the actual localized subscription cost and refund terms shown to you.
| Choice | Best for | Current cost | Biggest advantage | Important limitation |
|---|
| Focused freelance leads SolidGigs | Freelancers specifically pursuing clients/projects who want less cross-source searching. | $35/month or $350/year after a 14-day free trial. | Narrower acquisition workflow focused on freelance opportunity discovery. | It does not provide one universal marketplace or employer transaction layer for external opportunities. |
| Broader remote inventory Remotive | People open to full-time, contract, part-time or freelance remote work who value advanced filters and alerts. | Localized pricing. Current first-party examples include US $29/month or $84/year and EU €21/month or €89/year; verify checkout for your location. | Broader remote-work inventory across multiple work arrangements. | No single universal price applies; cancellation/refund rules, geography and employer application terms remain material. |

What you are actually comparing
SolidGigs
Current price: 14-day free trial, then $35/month or $350/year on the checked first-party pricing surface.
Model: paid freelance-lead discovery across multiple sources. SolidGigs says it is not a freelance marketplace and sends users to the original source to pitch.
Remotive
Current pricing model: localized by country/currency. Remotive's US affiliate example says $29/month or $84/year; its EU Terms example says €21/month or €89/year.
Model: paid enhanced access to a large remote-job inventory with advanced search filters and alerts across multiple work arrangements.
Pick SolidGigs when search time is the bottleneck
SolidGigs currently advertises a 14-day free trial, $35 month-to-month access and $350 annual billing displayed as a $29/month equivalent. It says users set search rules, its team and matching tools search multiple job sources, and relevant opportunities are added to the dashboard and email workflow before the freelancer follows the original source to pitch.
SolidGigs explicitly says it is not a marketplace like Upwork or Fiverr and that it does not take a percentage of client fees. The fit is strongest when you already know what freelance service you sell and want to pay someone else to narrow the lead-search workload.
SolidGigs cancellation is not a universal refund promise
SolidGigs markets cancel-anytime access. Its current terms separately say you must cancel before the 14-day trial ends to avoid the selected-plan charge and that refunds or prorated adjustments are not guaranteed for failure to cancel on time or at another point. Treat the trial deadline, cancellation and refund eligibility as separate decisions.
Remotive pricing is localized
Remotive's current sources do not support one universal numeric price for every user. Its public affiliate page gives a US example of $29/month or $84/year and says customer pricing is localized by country. Its current Terms give an EU pre-contractual example of €21/month or €89/year and say the current price is displayed at purchase. Its help center also says exact cost can vary based on country, taxes and currency exchange rates.
That means neither the US nor EU example should be presented as the price every reader will pay. Verify the actual checkout total and billing currency before subscribing.
Monthly and annual are current; quarterly is not proven universally
Remotive's current Terms define monthly and annual subscription plans. A help article updated December 30, 2025 still says job-seeker membership can be monthly, quarterly or yearly. Because the newer Terms do not include quarterly billing in the current plan definition, we do not present quarterly as a live universal option without checkout-level confirmation.
Cancellation and refunds are separate on Remotive
Remotive's current Terms say subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and access continues through the period already paid for. Cancellation therefore does not automatically create a prorated refund.
New subscribers currently have a 14-day full money-back guarantee on the initial monthly or annual subscription purchase. The Terms say refunds are issued as account credit by default or to the original payment method on request. Annual requests after the initial 14-day window and renewal refund requests are handled case by case rather than guaranteed.
Remotive is broader than freelance-only work
Current Remotive listings include full-time, freelance, contract and part-time roles. That makes it materially different from a product centered on freelance lead curation. If you are open to both employment and independent work, Remotive's broader inventory may fit better. If your goal is specifically client/project leads, SolidGigs is the narrower workflow.
Remote does not mean work from anywhere
Remotive's current listings and filters use geography such as Worldwide, USA, Europe and LATAM. Remote status does not remove employer, payroll, tax, time-zone or jurisdiction restrictions. Verify the individual listing's location requirement before applying.
Remotive is not the recruiter or employer
Remotive's current FAQ says clicking a listing redirects the user to the employer's careers page or application link and that Remotive is not involved in the application process. It also says Remotive is a job board, not a recruiter.
Remotive says it does its best to vet jobs but still tells applicants to use caution around scams. Paid access and provider vetting do not guarantee an interview, employer response, offer, safe recruiter interaction or payment.
Do not rely on legacy community claims
Remotive's current Terms say the former Remotive Accelerator/Community Slack product is no longer available for new members. Some older third-party material still describes community access as part of the offering. That legacy description should not control a current 2026 purchase decision.

Important limitations

- SolidGigs' current $35 monthly and $350 annual prices can change; confirm them before subscribing.
- SolidGigs cancel-anytime language is not a universal refund guarantee.
- Remotive pricing is localized; US and EU numbers shown here are examples from current first-party surfaces, not universal prices.
- The older Remotive help article's quarterly-plan wording is not treated as a current universal option.
- Remotive cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and does not automatically create a prorated refund.
- Remotive's initial 14-day money-back guarantee is separate from case-by-case later annual and renewal refund handling.
- Remotive contains multiple work arrangements; do not treat the entire board as freelance-only or employee-only.
- A remote listing can still be geographically restricted.
- Remotive vetting is a screening claim, not a guarantee against scams or bad employers.
- Legacy Remotive Accelerator/Slack access should not be assumed for new subscribers.
- Public affiliate-program availability does not determine this editorial comparison.
