SolidGigs vs Remote100K: freelance client leads or $100K+ remote jobs?
Start with SolidGigs when repetitive freelance client/project lead hunting across sources is your bottleneck. Start with Remote100K when your primary goal is remote employment, your hard compensation target is at least $100,000, and you want a free no-registration first stop. Remote100K's manual review is meaningful provider-process evidence, but its Terms still disclaim warranties about accurate or reliable results. Neither is a universal winner.
AlreadyChecked Verdict
No universal winner: choose freelance lead curation or a free $100K+ remote-employment filter.
SolidGigs fits independent freelancers paying to reduce repeated client/project prospecting. Remote100K fits remote-employment seekers whose hard compensation floor is at least $100,000 advertised annually or equivalent and who want a free no-registration discovery surface.
Best for you if… you decide whether you want freelance clients or salaried remote employment first, then use the compensation floor only as a search filter—not a salary guarantee.
| Choice | Best for | Current cost | Biggest advantage | Important limitation |
|---|
| Freelance clients SolidGigs | Freelancers whose bottleneck is repeated cross-source client/project lead hunting. | $35/month or $350/year after a 14-day free trial. | Paid curation focused on reducing independent freelance prospecting work. | It does not guarantee clients, projects or one universal downstream contract/payment system. |
| $100K+ remote employment Remote100K | Remote-employment seekers with a hard advertised-compensation filter of at least $100,000 or equivalent. | Free to browse without registration on the checked current candidate surface. | Low-friction discovery filtered around six-figure remote roles. | The $100K floor is a listing criterion, not guaranteed realized compensation; geography, authorization and downstream employer terms still apply. |

What you are actually comparing
SolidGigs
Current price: 14-day free trial, then $35/month or $350/year on the checked first-party pricing surface.
Model: paid freelance client/project lead generation and curation across multiple sources; matched leads route back to the original source to pitch.
Remote100K
Current candidate cost: free to browse without registration.
Model: remote-employment discovery focused on roles advertising at least $100,000 USD or equivalent; Apply routes to employer systems or employer email.
Pick SolidGigs when freelance lead hunting is the bottleneck
SolidGigs currently advertises a 14-day free trial, $35 monthly access and $350 annual billing displayed as roughly a $29/month equivalent. It describes a paid lead-generation workflow that searches multiple sources, sends matched gigs to the user's dashboard/email and routes the freelancer to the original source to pitch. SolidGigs says it does not take a percentage of client pay.
Its current Terms require cancellation before the 14-day trial ends to avoid the selected-plan charge and do not guarantee refunds or prorated adjustments for late cancellation or at another point. Cancel-anytime marketing and refund rights are separate.
Remote100K is free for job seekers
Remote100K's current Terms say job seekers can browse listings for free without registration. Its homepage also says no account is required. The separate $399 price on Remote100K is an employer featured-placement product—not candidate access pricing.
The $100K floor is a listing criterion, not a salary guarantee
Remote100K requires submitted listings to offer at least $100,000 USD or equivalent. That hard filter can reduce lower-paying noise, but it does not guarantee the displayed compensation remains unchanged or that a successful applicant will ultimately realize the advertised amount. Confirm currency, base versus variable compensation, geographic adjustments, benefits, employment type and offer terms with the employer.
Remote-only does not mean work from anywhere
Remote100K's Terms require a genuine remote position, and its current featured-job surface says hybrid and on-site submissions are rejected. The board nevertheless exposes country and region filters, and current listings can remain limited to a particular country and work-authorization status. Fully remote does not erase location, authorization, tax, licensing, language, schedule or timezone requirements.
Manual review is not a universal safety guarantee
Remote100K says all listings undergo manual review before publication and may be rejected for failing criteria, containing inaccurate or misleading information, violating applicable laws or coming from an employer with a history of poor business practices.
That is meaningful provider process evidence. The same Terms provide the site on an “as is” and “as available” basis and do not warrant accurate or reliable results. AlreadyChecked therefore does not convert manual review into an independent guarantee that every listing, employer, salary detail or later recruiter interaction is legitimate, current, accurate or scam-free.
A 30-day listing window is not proof of 30 days of availability
Remote100K's Terms say listings remain active for 30 days after approval unless removed earlier. Featured jobs stay pinned for 30 days before moving to a standard listing. That describes platform display time, not an employer promise to keep the role open. Verify the live employer destination before investing significant application effort.
Applications leave Remote100K
Remote100K's Privacy Policy says it does not collect job-seeker application materials. Apply clicks route to an employer application system or employer email. Remote100K says it records referral clicks and standard analytics such as IP address, browser, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked and referrer. Once the application leaves the board, the employer or applicant-tracking system controls separate privacy, security, retention and hiring terms.
Inventory counts are not winner evidence
Remote100K currently displays roughly 853 jobs, while a current independent job-board directory describes around 860 live roles. Those nearby counts support that an active inventory exists, but they do not normalize duplicates, freshness, applicant eligibility, role fit, compensation details or unique employers against SolidGigs. The numbers do not decide this comparison.
Provider-owned legitimacy content is not independent proof
Remote100K publishes an article that explicitly identifies itself as written by the Remote100K team and calls the service legitimate. That documents the provider's own workflow and positioning. It does not independently prove every listing or interaction is legitimate or establish representative hiring outcomes.
Customer-review evidence is tiny
The current Remote100K Trustpilot profile contains only two reviews. Those individual reports can provide bounded context, but a two-review sample cannot establish representative job quality, freshness, safety, interview rates or hiring outcomes.
Which one fits your situation?
Pick SolidGigs when…
- You are specifically pursuing freelance clients or projects rather than employment.
- You already know what service you sell and how to evaluate and pitch leads.
- You want curation across multiple sources to reduce repetitive prospecting.
- Saving that time can justify $35 monthly or $350 annually.
Pick Remote100K when…
- Your main goal is remote employment rather than freelance client acquisition.
- Your hard compensation filter is at least $100,000 advertised annually or equivalent.
- You want a free no-registration discovery surface before paying for another search tool.
- You will independently verify eligibility, salary details and downstream application destinations.
Use both only when both work paths are real options
If you are genuinely deciding between freelance client work and salaried remote employment, run them as separate searches. Start with Remote100K's free eligible employment inventory. Evaluate SolidGigs separately as a paid freelance client-acquisition tool. Do not combine unlike opportunity counts into one winner score.
Important limitations

- Fully remote does not mean universal work-from-anywhere eligibility.
- The 30-day listing window is not proof every role remains open for 30 days.
- The $399 Remote100K featured-job price is employer-side placement pricing, not candidate pricing or legitimacy proof.
- Applications move to employer-controlled systems or email.
- Dynamic inventory counts are not normalized superiority evidence.
- Provider-owned legitimacy/comparison content is not independent proof.
- Two Trustpilot reviews are not representative outcome evidence.

AlreadyChecked verdict: No universal winner. SolidGigs fits freelancers paying to reduce cross-source client/project lead hunting.
