No universal winner: choose fixed external lead curation or a no-bidding service storefront.

Legiit fits productized-service sellers who want buyers to order from a storefront without bidding on each opportunity and can accept seller fees, payout stages, chargeback risk and on-platform rules.

No universal winner. Legiit’s ordinary Seller Fee is 15%, but that is not always the entire seller cost. Current Terms also describe a payment-method-dependent 3% processing fee and a conditional additional 15% Affiliate Fee on qualifying affiliate-attributed purchases.

At a glance

SolidGigs

Cost: 14-day free trial, then $35/month or $350/year.

Model: curated external opportunities.

Legiit

Model: no-bidding productized-service storefront/order marketplace.

Ordinary Seller Fee: 15% of total sale amount.

Conditional costs: third-party processing may add 3%; qualifying affiliate-attributed purchases can add a 15% Affiliate Fee deducted from seller payout in addition to the Seller Fee.

Legiit is not simply “15% in every case”

Current Terms charge a 15% Seller Fee. They also say third-party-payment-provider transactions may carry a 3% processing fee, while wallet-funded payments do not. And on qualifying affiliate-attributed purchases, the Terms say a separate 15% Affiliate Fee is deducted from seller payout in addition to the Seller Fee. That does not mean every sale costs 30%.

No bidding does not mean guaranteed orders

Legiit’s seller page markets “Stop Bidding. Start Selling,” with buyers ordering listed services. That can fit productized sellers, but no-bidding marketplace discovery does not guarantee orders, conversion or income.

Payout has separate stages

Current Terms say Legiit verifies the transaction/payment within 5 days after the buyer marks an order complete. If the buyer does not mark it complete, the transaction can automatically be considered complete after 3 days, after which verification applies. After verification, proceeds are subject to a $1,000 per day withdrawal maximum, can take up to 72 hours to appear in the seller account, and carry a $3 fee per withdrawal. Those stages are not one universal guaranteed end-to-end SLA.

Chargebacks can still reach the seller balance

If Legiit loses an external customer chargeback, current Terms say the seller’s Legiit account is debited. If that creates a negative balance, the seller must add sufficient funds to continue using the Service.

Platform protection depends on staying on-platform

Current Terms require communication/contact/purchases/sales through the Service. Outside-Service purchases are barred from Legiit’s dispute-resolution process, and attempts to buy or sell outside the Service can result in account termination.

55-point vetting is not a background check

Legiit’s seller/talent marketing advertises a 55-point vetting process. Its Terms separately state that the Provider does not perform background checks on community members. We therefore do not turn marketplace vetting into a claim that every seller is background-checked, safe, licensed, reliable or guaranteed to deliver quality.

Premium Seller is optional

Current Terms list Premium Seller at $27 every 1 month. It provides optional marketing features; it is not a required seller fee. The Terms also explicitly say optional paid advertising does not guarantee sales or increased traffic.

Which fits you?

I want fixed-cost external opportunities

SolidGigs fits better when you already handle your own pitching, contracts and payments.

I sell clearly packaged services

Legiit fits better when a storefront/order model is more useful than bidding on individual jobs.

I require one simple universal marketplace fee

Legiit is a weaker fit for that expectation because payment-method and affiliate-attribution conditions can change seller economics.

I need background-checked counterparties

Do not infer that from Legiit’s 55-point vetting marketing. The current Terms explicitly say Provider does not perform background checks.
