SolidGigs vs GigRadar: broad external leads or Upwork AI bidding?

Choose SolidGigs when you want lower-cost broad external opportunity curation. Choose GigRadar when Upwork is a major acquisition channel and AI filtering, proposal generation and automated bidding justify a much larger software-and-platform cost stack.

AlreadyChecked Verdict

No universal winner: choose broad fixed-cost curation or an Upwork-centered automation stack.

SolidGigs fits freelancers whose bottleneck is broader multi-source opportunity discovery. GigRadar fits freelancers or agencies whose acquisition is heavily centered on Upwork and who can justify higher software, Agency Plus and Connects/Boosts costs despite unresolved public trial and API documentation conflicts.

Best for you if… you choose by acquisition channel first, then price the full Upwork-side cost stack and verify current trial/API terms before purchase.

Broad curation
SolidGigs
Freelancers who want broader external opportunities without centering acquisition on one marketplace.$35/month or $350/year after a 14-day free trial.Lower fixed cost for multi-source lead curation. No leads, clients or earnings are guaranteed, and downstream pitching/transactions remain the freelancer's responsibility.
Upwork automation
GigRadar Start

Agency workflow
GigRadar Agency
Agencies needing more profiles and plan credits inside the same Upwork-centered workflow.$379/month billed monthly or $299/month effective annually.More profiles and plan credits than Start.Plan credits do not carry over, and the software plans do not inherit the separate Done-For-You results guarantee.

No universal winner. GigRadar’s current public pages conflict on both free-trial availability and API entitlement. We preserve those conflicts instead of inventing one simple rule.

At a glance

SolidGigs

Cost: 14-day free trial, then $35/month or $350/year.

Model: broad multi-source curated external opportunities.

GigRadar Start

$99/month effective when billed annually or $129/month billed monthly.

100 monthly plan credits, one freelancer profile, AI proposal writing/qualification and Verified Business Manager workflow.

GigRadar Agency

$299/month effective annually or $379/month billed monthly, with 350 monthly plan credits and two profiles.

GigRadar has separate Upwork costs

Current Start pricing says it requires a $20/month Upwork Agency Plus subscription. Upwork independently confirms Agency Plus is required for most agency proposals and enables the agency to buy/use shared Connects. Connects and Boosts are separate Upwork-side acquisition costs; the GigRadar subscription does not erase them.

Not all credits roll over

Current GigRadar pricing says plan credits don’t carry over. Separately purchased credit packs roll over month to month. Those are different balances and should not be described as one universal rollover policy.

The free-trial pages currently conflict

The current pricing page advertises a 7-day free trial for Start and Agency and says “Try it free for 7 days.” A separate current first-party We Care FAQ says GigRadar does not offer free trials. Confirm the actual checkout/account offer before relying on a trial.

The API pages currently conflict too

Current pricing says API access included with Agency and Unlimited. The current Public API page separately says API access costs $100 a month, on top of your subscription (or $960/year). The public pages do not establish one universal API entitlement, so we do not collapse them into one.

“Compliant” is not the same as Upwork-endorsed or risk-free

GigRadar says it strives to comply with Upwork policies, but also says it is independent and has no affiliation with Upwork and acknowledges the possibility of misinterpretation by Upwork. A separate provider page uses “risk-free” language, while GigRadar’s current API page says it will not claim the risk is zero. We use the narrower boundary: provider-controlled compliance claims are not a permanent account-safety guarantee.

The software plans do not inherit the Done-For-You guarantee

GigRadar’s current pricing identifies Done-For-You as the only offering with a results guarantee. That guarantee should not be transferred to ordinary Start, Agency or Unlimited software plans, and the provider’s ROI/revenue projections are estimates rather than guaranteed results.

The linked Terms are old

GigRadar’s currently linked Terms page is dated February 1, 2022. It says recurring charges continue until cancellation, purchases are non-refundable, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term. Because the product and pricing have changed materially since 2022, that date must remain visible when using those rules and current checkout/account terms should control if they differ.

Which fits you?

I want broader external opportunities at lower fixed cost

SolidGigs fits better when curation is the bottleneck and you already know how to pitch and manage client transactions.

Upwork is a core acquisition channel

GigRadar fits better when AI filtering, proposal generation and automation can justify the higher subscription plus Agency Plus and Connects/Boosts costs.

I need simple, settled trial/API terms

GigRadar is weaker for that requirement while its current public trial and API pages conflict.

I need guaranteed clients or zero account risk

Neither GigRadar’s software nor its provider compliance language establishes guaranteed hires, earnings or permanent platform safety.
