SolidGigs vs MarketerHire: broad lead discovery or selective marketing matching?

Choose SolidGigs when your bottleneck is finding external freelance opportunities and you prefer to control pitching, contracts and payment yourself. Choose MarketerHire when you are an experienced marketing specialist willing to pass selective screening and prefer one-to-one matching plus platform-managed contracts, invoicing, collections and payment.

AlreadyChecked Verdict

No universal winner: choose broad independent lead discovery or selective one-to-one marketing matching with managed commercial administration.

SolidGigs fits freelancers who want broader external opportunities and downstream independence. MarketerHire fits experienced marketing specialists who can pass selective screening and value one-to-one matching plus platform-handled contracts, invoicing, collections and payment administration.

Best for you if… you want a curated marketing-only matching layer and can distinguish “no marketer fee” from the much larger client-facing price instead of treating both as the same number.

Fee boundary: MarketerHire currently says its network is free for marketers, charges no platform fees and takes nothing from agreed compensation. That does not mean a marketer receives 100% of every client-facing dollar. Current client pricing is typically $5,000–$20,000+ per month depending on scope and specialization.

Trust boundary: This is a manually researched editorial comparison. It is not an A✓/CHECKED automated verification record and carries no A✓/CHECKED approval badge. This support page contains no direct merchant affiliate destination.

Top 1% is a provider claim, not an AlreadyChecked badge

MarketerHire's current marketer page says it accepts only the top 1% of marketers who apply. It describes an application, expert-vetter interview and MarketerHire team interview. We treat the percentage as provider-reported selectivity—not independent proof of quality, safety, placement odds, or A✓/CHECKED authority.

One-to-one matching reduces bidding, but does not guarantee a hire

Current marketer material says MarketerHire uses one-to-one matching and no bidding: it selects a marketer for an opportunity instead of making multiple freelancers compete through an open bid. Marketers can accept or decline opportunities. That does not mean every accepted marketer gets a first match, every client accepts the presented marketer, or every opportunity becomes an engagement.

No marketer fee is not the same as the client invoice

MarketerHire says it is 100% free for marketers, with no startup, yearly or platform fees, and that it takes nothing from the marketer's agreed compensation. Current engagements are described as value-based retainers, not hourly timesheet commitments.

On the client side, MarketerHire currently advertises custom pricing typically around $5,000–$20,000+ per month. We do not treat that as a universal marketer retainer amount, and we do not infer a freelancer commission percentage from the difference between client pricing and marketer compensation.

Payment is provider-stated biweekly ACH

MarketerHire's current marketer FAQ says it handles invoicing and collections and pays marketers biweekly via ACH direct deposit. It says funds are typically available Fridays but advises marketers to check with their financial institution because ACH handling varies.

We therefore report the provider-stated biweekly ACH structure without independently guaranteeing exact bank availability timing, one universal tax or currency treatment, or an unconditional payment outcome across every account, fraud, compliance, termination or contractual exception.

MarketerHire handles more of the contract workflow

Current marketer material says MarketerHire handles legal forms, contracts and NDAs and takes care of direct contracts with clients; the marketer signs one contract with MarketerHire when onboarded. That is materially different from SolidGigs, which sends freelancers to external opportunities and leaves downstream contracting/payment to the source or client.

Client trial terms are not marketer earnings guarantees

Current MarketerHire client pages describe month-to-month engagements and a two-week risk-free/refundable trial with rematching if the initial fit does not work. Those are client-side terms. We do not infer a freelancer deduction, guaranteed loss, or guaranteed compensation outcome from them.

Relationship restrictions matter

Current MarketerHire Terms include a 12-month non-solicitation restriction for platform users around Talent encountered through the matching service. We do not recommend bypassing those relationship rules or assuming platform administration continues outside an authorized arrangement.
