Current models

SolidGigs

Cost: 14-day free trial, then $35/month or $350/year.

Model: broader external freelance lead discovery; pitching, contracts and payment typically happen downstream.

Expert360

Model: curated expert/talent network with project browse/apply/invite workflows, negotiated Offers and on-platform invoicing/payment processing.

Expert360 vetting is provider process—not independent verification

Current Expert360 marketing says the network includes 40,000+ vetted Experts and roughly the top 10% of applicants, supported by human vetting, reference checks and track-record verification.

Those are provider-reported process/marketing claims. They do not independently prove quality, safety, project access, earnings or outcomes and do not create an AlreadyChecked approval badge.

48-hour language does not guarantee admission or work

Current client-facing Expert360 surfaces use 48-hour shortlist language. Current Expert sign-up guidance also says the talent team aims to vet and approve Experts within 48 hours after a video call.

Neither statement guarantees that an individual applicant is admitted, shortlisted, contracted or paid within 48 hours. Current clearance guidance also says a clearance may improve matching but does not guarantee project selection.

Australia has specific participation requirements

Current qualification Help says Experts who sign up and work in Australia need an ABN or ACN. It also says relevant insurance coverage is required once an Expert is engaged on a project.

Those are material Australia-specific participation requirements. They should not be generalized into identical rules for every jurisdiction or engagement type.

Application, invitation and Offer are separate stages

Experts can browse public Projects, apply and also receive invitations. Current Help notes that Clients can sometimes take several weeks to decide whom to engage.

Profile rates are indicators. Experts may negotiate project rates, application rates are visible to Clients, and the Offer / counteroffer stage formalizes proposed engagement terms. Application, invitation, interview, Offer and accepted engagement are different stages and should not be collapsed into a guaranteed project.

Marketplace payment can depend on Client approval

Current Expert360 Help says the platform processes payments for completed client work and provides an invoicing tool. Weekly timesheets or invoices can require Client approval and can move through Expert360 review, Client approval and payment-made stages.

The dashboard can show an expected payment date or range based on the regular payment cycle, but the reviewed public material does not establish one universal calendar payout date, payment rail or final bank-arrival time for every marketplace project.

The 24-hour / up-to-3% payments product is a separate product

Expert360 also operates a separate Expert360 Payments product. Its current public page says eligible verified invoices can be paid within 24 hours and that the fee is calculated from invoice, client, payment-term and credit information and is at most 3% of invoice value.

The critical scope boundary is that this product currently applies to contractors in Australia working on projects secured outside Expert360 with Australian clients. The current product page says support for projects secured on Expert360 is planned for later.

That means the 24-hour payment language and up-to-3% fee must not be applied to ordinary Expert360 marketplace projects. The separate product also requires completed billed work and verification/client-credit checks, so its payment timing is not unconditional.

Platform support does not remove Expert tax/legal responsibility

Current Expert360 Site Terms say Experts remain responsible for applicable laws, rules, regulations and taxation obligations connected with their use of the Site or Services.

The Terms also allow Expert360 to request credential evidence and to suspend or cancel registration in specified circumstances, including failure to provide required evidence. Admission therefore is not permanent or irrevocable.
