SEO monitoring software comparison

Semrush vs Sitechecker

Neither is a universal winner. Start with Semrush when broad keyword, competitor, position-tracking, site-audit and AI-search research should live in one suite. Consider Sitechecker when continuous monitoring and operational reporting for owned or client sites—especially Site Audit, Rank Tracker and GSC/GA4 workflows—are the center of the job. Sitechecker's current pricing output exposes multiple numeric variants around the same plan labels, so verify the active purchase state before treating one headline price as current.

AlreadyChecked Verdict

Choose Semrush for broader research and competitive discovery; choose Sitechecker when continuous owned/client-site monitoring and operational reporting are the primary workflow.

Semrush is the stronger fit when keyword/competitor research, Position Tracking, Site Audit and AI-search visibility need to live together. Sitechecker is the stronger fit when recurring site monitoring, audits, Rank Tracker, GSC/GA4 consolidation and client reporting are the operational center of the job.

Best for you if… you verify Sitechecker's active price and API plan boundary before checkout rather than selecting a winner from an ambiguous rendered price or treating its plan units as Semrush equivalents.

Why we are not publishing one Sitechecker price

Sitechecker's current pricing surface exposes more than one numeric variant around the same Basic and Standard plan labels in the served output. The same page presents monthly and annual billing states, says annual billing gives two months free and states prices are set in U.S. dollars.

That establishes a pricing-presentation ambiguity, not enough evidence to select one exact headline number without confirming the active billing toggle, currency and purchase state. A lower rendered number is therefore not used to make Sitechecker the winner.

What each product is actually centered on

Semrush

The current Semrush SEO + AI Search entry surface combines keyword research, competitor analysis, Position Tracking, Site Audit and AI-search visibility in a broader research toolkit. It fits buyers whose work starts with market discovery, competitor intelligence and keyword/ranking research across websites.

Sitechecker

Sitechecker's current pricing and agency surfaces center recurring website monitoring, Site Audit, Rank Tracker with SERP history, GSC/GA4 insights, automated reporting, invited users and client/agency website operations. Its plan limits use product-specific units such as websites/projects, pages, keywords, prompts and API allowances.

Renewal, pause, cancellation and refunds are separate rules

Sitechecker's current pricing FAQ says subscriptions automatically renew through Paddle every month or year depending on the selected period and that users can downgrade, pause or cancel in the account.

API boundary

Sitechecker's July 2026 Public API help says the Public API is available for Premium customers. Account owners create and revoke API keys, keys can access only projects owned by the account, and one request equals one API unit. Current API documentation uses Bearer authentication and project-scoped endpoints.

Those are Sitechecker-specific units and access rules. They are not numerically equated with Semrush API units, projects, keyword allowances or report limits. Verify the active plan contract before buying specifically for API access.

Your decision depends on an exact plan price or API access. Confirm the active purchase state instead of relying on one rendered pricing variant.

Affiliate and trust boundary

Sitechecker publicly advertises an affiliate program with stated commissions, cookie duration and payout terms. That public program is commercially relevant, but it does not prove AlreadyChecked has been accepted, owns a project-controlled referral URL, has attribution custody or has payout custody.

There is no direct Sitechecker affiliate destination on this comparison. Affiliate economics did not determine the editorial verdict.
