Can FlexJobs raise my renewal price?

Yes. Current FlexJobs Terms reserve the ability to change service prices. For paid subscriptions, the Terms say FlexJobs will send an email notification if it changes a price you previously agreed to pay or substantially changes the paid services.

Trust boundary: This is a manually researched editorial subscription guide, not an A✓/CHECKED verification record and not an A✓/CHECKED approval badge. AlreadyChecked has no proven FlexJobs production affiliate destination, so this page contains no direct merchant affiliate link.

AlreadyChecked Verdict

Do not assume a permanent price lock—verify the actual notice and next scheduled payment.

Current Terms reserve price-change rights and describe email notification when a paid subscriber's previously agreed price changes or paid services change substantially. They do not establish one universal 7-, 14- or 30-day notice period for every account or jurisdiction. If you disagree with a direct-web change, current Terms point to cancellation rather than an automatic refund.

Best for you if… your renewal amount changed or you received a price-change notice and you need to separate the provider's base-price change from taxes, currency, store pricing or other payment differences.

Do not assume your current renewal price is permanently locked. Current listed pricing describes today's offer. The current Terms reserve price-change rights for paid services.

What notice do the current Terms describe?

The paid-subscription section says that if FlexJobs changes a price you previously agreed to pay—or substantially changes the paid services—it will notify you by email. That section says the change becomes effective immediately and is reflected in your next scheduled payment.

The Terms highlights also say a user will be notified in accordance with law if a price will be changed and provided time to make account changes.

There is no verified universal 7-, 14- or 30-day rule here

The reviewed current public wording does not establish one universal numeric notice period for every FlexJobs price change, account or jurisdiction. AlreadyChecked will not turn the phrase “in accordance with law” into individualized legal advice about what exact notice a particular subscriber must receive.

A price-change notice is not an ordinary renewal reminder

The paid-subscription email clause is tied to a price change or substantial paid-service change. It does not establish that every unchanged renewal receives a separate pre-renewal reminder.

If you do not agree with a direct-web price change

Current Terms say a paid subscriber who does not agree with such changes may cancel the paid subscription in accordance with the Cancellations section.

That does not itself promise a refund. Cancellation and refund eligibility remain separate questions under the applicable current terms.

Direct FlexJobs subscription

Compare the price-change email, transaction receipt, current subscription record and the next displayed scheduled payment.

App-originated subscription

Current FAQ routes app-originated subscription management through Google Play or the App Store. Do not assume direct FlexJobs web price-change mechanics apply identically to store-controlled billing.

A larger statement amount does not automatically prove a base-price increase

Current Terms separately discuss taxes, foreign exchange and payment-related fees. App-store pricing can also differ from direct-web pricing. If the amount changed, identify the billing source and compare the actual notice and subscription record before calling it a FlexJobs base-price increase.

What to check before the next payment

  1. Find the actual FlexJobs or store price-change notice, if one was sent.
  2. Confirm the original billing source.
  3. Review the transaction receipt and current subscription record.
  4. Check the next displayed renewal amount and date.
  5. If the record is still unclear, use official FlexJobs or store support.

Verdict: Yes. Current FlexJobs Terms reserve the ability to change service prices. For paid subscriptions, the Terms describe email notification when a previously agreed price changes and say the change can appear in the next scheduled payment. Do not assume a permanent price lock or invent a universal notice period. Check the actual notice, original billing source, subscription record and next displayed renewal amount; if you do not agree with a direct-web change, current Terms point to cancellation.
