Current FAQ directs paid users to log in, open Account Details, then the Subscription tab to manage cancellation. It says the account can be set to close when the current subscription runs out.
Cancellation and refund are not the same action. Current FlexJobs Terms say cancelling before the next renewal date stops the next recurring renewal. Its current Money Back Guarantee separately says an eligible member must cancel and request a refund within 14 days of account creation or renewal.

AlreadyChecked Verdict
The current provider wording separates three decisions: stop the next recurring renewal, ask for a refund under the stated 14-day Money Back Guarantee, or manage an app-store subscription through the store where it was purchased. Do not assume one action automatically completes the others.
| Choice | Best for | Current timing | Biggest advantage | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stop future billing Cancel subscription | Members whose goal is to prevent the next recurring FlexJobs renewal. | Current Terms say complete cancellation before the next renewal date. | Stops the next recurring renewal when completed on time under the provider-stated process. | Cancellation alone is not a refund request, and current Terms do not promise prorated credit for unused time. |
| Seek money back Cancel + request refund | Members who believe they qualify for the current Money Back Guarantee. | Current pricing says within 14 days of account creation or renewal. | Uses the provider's stated satisfaction-guarantee path for an eligible request. | Eligibility and approval are not guaranteed here; cancelling alone should not be treated as automatically submitting the refund request. |
| Store-billed Apple / Google purchase | Members whose FlexJobs subscription was originally purchased through the mobile app. | Current FAQ says cancellation is handled through Google Play or the App Store. | Routes cancellation through the billing platform that controls the app subscription. | FlexJobs' cancellation instructions do not establish Apple/Google refund eligibility, approval or timing. |

Do not translate “cancel anytime” into “refund anytime.” Stopping future renewal and requesting money back are separate actions in current provider wording.
Current Terms say a FlexJobs subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled before the next renewal date. If you want to stop the next recurring renewal, the provider-stated boundary is to complete cancellation before that renewal date.
The current FlexJobs pricing page says that if you are dissatisfied, you can cancel the subscription and request a refund within 14 days of account creation or renewal. The current FAQ likewise describes cancelling and asking for a refund within its satisfaction-guarantee window.
That wording matters: cancelling alone should not be treated as automatically submitting a refund request.
Current FAQ directs paid users to log in, open Account Details, then the Subscription tab to manage cancellation. It says the account can be set to close when the current subscription runs out.
If the subscription was originally purchased through the FlexJobs mobile app, current FAQ says cancellation must be handled through Google Play or the App Store. FlexJobs says app access continues until the end of the billing period after cancellation.
Those app-cancellation instructions do not by themselves establish Google Play or Apple refund eligibility, refund timing, or refund approval. Platform-store refund rules may be separate.
Current FlexJobs Terms say no pro-rated credit is given for partial use of a subscription. Do not assume that cancelling midway through a billing period creates a prorated refund for unused days.
The current Terms say FlexJobs may issue a refund if cancellation notice is provided before the end of an offered trial period, but do not guarantee refunds after trials expire. The current pricing-page Money Back Guarantee remains the specific offer-page statement for its stated 14-day account-creation or renewal window.
Current Terms say FlexJobs sends an email with a cancellation number to confirm a cancellation request. If you do not receive that confirmation and still intend to cancel, the Terms direct you to contact customer service for assistance.
Verdict: Cancel before the next renewal date if your goal is to stop future recurring billing. If you are seeking money back under the current Money Back Guarantee, treat that as a separate action: current pricing says to cancel and request a refund within 14 days of account creation or renewal. Outside the stated window, current Terms do not guarantee a refund, and partial unused time is not promised a prorated credit.
